Not a fan
My freakin calc teacher talked me out of dropping today. UGH. While it's nice to know she cares and actually wants to help me (I didn't think she liked me), it's still annoying that I have to keep going to a class that I absolutley don't understand.

I can empathize with you completely. I still don't understand calculus. It's a good brain stretcher, and I know you can do some really useful stuff with it, but I too dropped it once at Red Rocks Community College then took it again and finally passed it with some horrible average test score -- because apparently everyone else was as much or more baffled than me. I say hang in there. This is one of those courses that totally screws up peoples' grade point averages but you should actually get extra credit for trying. About grade point averages -- it's a silly game. I'd rather have a straight C person who took courses in calculus and astrophysics etc. than a straight A student who excelled in cookies 101 and latch hook 103. People who try really tough stuff and learn something should always have preferance over someone who looked for ways to coast through with high grade point averages.
