Events at the U

Here is a link to events that the Student Union at Hertfordshire has something to do with...I don't know what. But they atleast compiled a list for us! And it looks like most of the parties they've planned--alot on weeknights--go until 3 am.

Here are a few examples:

Whaaaaat! This is lookin to be quite the experience. I'd LOVE to see K-State host a LGBT night. Cowboys love all of those..

2 days!!!!!

For a bit more on the "Football" scene check out who has a training ground in Shenley, Hertfordshire (which is not only the name of my U, but the province Hatfield is in as well)

What are you going to do?

Shannon, Nicole, and I have been playing this card game called "Coloretto" recently. It's fun, and there are chameleons on the cards :)
Today in Natural Disasters this random black guy sat next to Caitlin and kept talking to her; it was freakin funny. He would ask her things like "Should I get a sleeve on this arm?" and "Do you know how to use a scantron?" Oh my gosh, I giggled soo much. Then Jawsh just commented me and told me he's been meeting black guys like crazy. Ones named Belo and NUTSY. LOL I freakin know, right? Ugh...This town is nutsy, I'll tell you that much.
So last week I straight up ran two miles in under 21 minutes, and yesterday I ran/walked 3 miles in 36. I've been going to the rec everyday, it's a pretty good system. . .good grief, I need a job.
Holy crap, Resdient Evil: Extinction come to theaters September 21. I'm amped.

We're best friends!!!!!!

So I'm all moved in here up at Smurthwaite in Manhattan. I have the middle bed of which I was leery at first but oh no, I'm rockin it. My roommates (Kerri and Erin) are pretty cool, and I'm actually thinking my classes might be pretty fun as well. Nothing exciting is really going on yet, just been hanging out with the fam mostly. Tomorrow all the festivities start, a bbq, black and white dinner, and I'm sure dozens upon dozens of get-to-know-you games.
Not so sure about that last one.
But, if you were wondering, now that I'm actually up here I'm getting more and more excited and less and less sad about being here and leaving home. Rhonda's still here though,
we'll see how all that goes on Sunday when she leaves. We won't talk about it though.
This is fun!
And I have memory foam on my bed which makes my outlook on everything just a bit brighter.

Unbelievable

I don't understand how I just suffered through an hour and a half of calc homework only to get 8 problems done, and I REALLY don't understand how Shannon and Nicole just did too. I should really up their pay.

Oh, and IF you were wondering, I got 26 hits on my site today. Ballin.

This aint a scene

Every once in a while, a night will come along that makes me glad I'm not a drunken college student. Not that tonight was a horrible night by any means...These nights just make me appreciate how I do a little bit more.

(Friends: this isn't about you.)

Not a fan

My freakin calc teacher talked me out of dropping today. UGH. While it's nice to know she cares and actually wants to help me (I didn't think she liked me), it's still annoying that I have to keep going to a class that I absolutley don't understand.
