Tonight we had game night over at Shannon and Nicole's.
It was great fun filled with dinner, games, and great videos!

They showed me this series which is a Japanese workout video/English lessons combo that's aired in Japan I'm pretty sure. There's a lot of them, all teaching what Japanese apparently think are important phrases for them to know if they came to America...?

We got a refresher course of what Jenette would look like every morning if she had a monocle (this was from summer).

And I just found this on myspace. This sound always creeped me out, I don't know why...
but watching this didn't ease me much.

In other happy news, I got a part in one of Julie's pieces in Spring Dance! I'm an understudy for another as well. It's super exciting because unlike Student Spotlight which is what I was in last semester, Spring Dance is performed three times and is an actual event that people outside the dance department buy tickets to come see! Only crappy thing is rehearsals are Mon-Thurs 2:30-4, so I don't know when the heck I'm going to be able to work. Buuut I'll figure it out.

OH and the last two days it's been beyond gorgeous outside! Kerri and I took a two mile walk yesterday and today I finally got to wear flip flops to class!

OOOOOOH and my time when I run a mile is slowly getting faster and faster.

Good times all around! Now to catch up with the mountain of reading I need to do...

You know, you started dancing and I was all about that, you know I was. Then you started working out a bunch which I'll allow, I mean fitness is pretty important, we like being in shape...but you know, you're dancing alot on top of that running you do...OH, wait. You're playing hockey now? Eff those shenanigans! Pulled groin muscle, achy knee. And cut the walking to class in 3 degree weather crap or your shoulder is getting dislocated. Oh, I'll freakin do it.

We had a hockey tournament in St. Louis this weekend. The shawtys played really well, and although we didn't win any games everyone generally stayed in a good mood and it was a fun weekend! I started going to practices this last Thursday and up until about today I have been really sore.
Classes started on Thursday as well...I feel this semester might involve a bunch of reading, but I switched to a different politics class so it will be a little better. I'm taking a History class about Aztecs, Mayas, and Incas with Shannon so that's pretty cool, and Musical Stage Dance which is possibly going to be even cooler than it sounds!
Tonight I went to Andrews and a bunch of us played Balderdash. Crap they are still some of the funniest guys I've ever met.

So I've basically lost the heart to post since I lost my camera...anyway, now you know that's why there hasn't been much action. I know how little people like to read about my day versus looking at the picture recount of the day...It's made me pretty emotional :(

Ok anyway, so yesterday was supposed to be basically my last day in town so you know I wanted to hang out with everyone x to the max.
Jawsh, AJ, and I went to eat at Peking which was delicious as usual.
Jon D and I had a nice talk on Jon Urban's curb while I think we both smoked for fashions sake. It was gawgeous outside!

Mommy and I went to Wal Mart, ate dinner at Lone Star, and watched a Friends episode.
Then Jon D and I went to watch the JuCo dance team at the men's basketball game.

Afterwards we watched Lane and other Jon play air hockey for a while then I went to Stana's and started watching Hard Candy. Weird movie... OH! But I don't think I mentioned that the other night we watched Juno in the theater, and it was good :)
People eventually started flooding over to Stana's and we had a nice little time there.
Zoe was even down to hang out.

We went to Ellen Huschka's for a good while...

Then back to Stana's to finish watching Hard Candy. Last night was the last night for the Red Baron to ever stay open 24 hours (Heart breaking, I know)
so of COURSE we had to hit that up...it was a little emotional. Baron, I AM amazed by you...

And then it was 7:30 in the morning. And that was the night. And that was my break.
And it was by far the most amazing break I've ever had :)

Wednesday night Kasey and I accidentally made my hair very very blonde. The hair itself looked good, she did a swell job...My face just couldn't take the heat. But you know, I always wanted to go platinum...and now I know, but it was a fun 18 hours while they lasted.
Rhonda, Zach, and I all had a good chuckle about it.

Tonight we did something a little different with my hair to tone it down and I freakin love it!
I swear by Kasey when it comes to my hair. After doing that I went to Stana's and she took pictures of me because she's gettin into the photography business. Photos to come shortly...

I like your butt

Good golly miss Molly I did way more today than I have most days of break. At 7 this morning ma and I went to eat breakfast at Daylight (after hanging out with Zach and gettin to bed around 4 the night before). Then I came home and couldn't resist a nap...I was dying.
I went to the DMV to renew my license (nailed the photo, btw),
then Dave and I took my car to get the oil changed. I then proceeded to work out,
take Grandma shopping, and eat dinner at Pizza Hut with my mom again.

Stana and I got together and went to the student union at the JuCo to watch/play air hockey and pool with Jon Urban, Lane, Jon D, Jay, Jennifer, and Zach Bowling
(a guy on the soccer team). After mucho sitting around (and I mean MUCHO)
we finally decided to go to Zach's apartment, where we spent the remainder of the night,
with the exception of the Red Baron to end it right.

I am going to miss THE CRAP out of this town...

I hate that I keep doing these...

Sea-Fense!

I can't tell you how much I miss having a real camera. Anyway...So the last couple of days I've been hanging out with Jon, Lane, Jay, Jon D., and Brevan more than I have hung out with anyone in Garden in a long time. It was mostly because Lane was leaving today, but he's coming back on Tuesday and Wednesday now...oh well, it's been hella fun. We've gone to lunch for the past three days, it's like we're on a sitcom.

The night of the orange bowl we went to Target and Wal-Mart then watched the game
(KU beat Virginia Tech...I'm still not sure how I feel about it)
Anyway, this is Lane being stupid in Target's parking lot.

Devon got new hair and I loooove it..I told him like 10 times.

After the game we went to Red Baron then to Wal-Mart again.
This time Jon and Lane played air hockey for like half an hour.

While we waited Jay and I got engaged. He banked it on that claw machine game.

After all that jazz I went to Zach's and we watched Fracture. It was alright. But here's the kicked, he had been sick but was over it, and me with my impeccable immune system skills figured, yeah, this'll be ok.

NOW. Omg I can't even tell you how awful last night was.
Rhonda and I went to El Con for dinner (for my third time in one week) which I was cool with, but later when I went out I started to not feel well. LOOOOOONG night short, I had to sleep on the bathroom floor and wake up on average every 40 minutes to throw up all of my insides...I hate throwing up more than any kind of sick in the world. It's sooo bad. So, at around 8 am I threw up my last hurrah and layed uncomfortably on the linoleum for about 5 more hours during which I watched Becoming Jane (which is alright, but basically the same movie as every other one based in that time period) and the first half of the first episode of Entourage. Meh.
I finally got up to come lay in my bed and watch the wild card play off games. So far Seattle beat Washington 35-14, and the Steelers and Jacksonville are tied 7-7.
What. A. Day.
Oh, but yall should be jealous because my mom had by back like none other during all this. Yeah, it's because we love each other.

New New Years

Lane came to town today! He missed New Years last night because he was working so we had a little one for him at Stana's tonight. (That's Jay, Jon Urban, Me, Jon D, Lane, and Peter)

Happy New Year!

Tonight was so freakin fun, Stana had people out at her apartment and everyone just hung out. There was a pretty good amount of people, but it was still really chill so it was a nice way to spend the night. Jon D. was my new years kiss, it was pretty funny since he wasn't completely with it per se, so no bd. After everyone had gone and Stana's apartment was trashed, I went to the Red Baron with Zach and had hash browns. It's 5:34 am...the new year is kickin off good!
