Soo Birthday Week

Tuesday's event was Birthday Breakfast. We had breakfast casserole that Amanda and I made that actually turned out (we were a little unsure of what it meant to make a breakfast casserole. Pulled it off though, OJ, coffee, choc chip muffins and bumble pancakes, of course! Along with the roommates, Tyler Ediger, Whit, Geoff, and Joel came. Pretty good turn out for 7 am :) I also found out that evening that I got a 100% on my first Chemistry exam. Thank you birthday week miracles.
Wednesday's event of Ultimate Frisbee didn't work out so hot, because turns out at in February, it gets dark and cold at 6:30. It wasn't a very good day (I was really tired from having a 7:30 am recitation), so I think Kerri gave me my present earlier than she planned. This beautiful bible! I
Thursday it snowed a ton and I took my first physics exam. I don't know my score yet, but I fear I didn't do as well as I did on my first test of the week. But it's over. That night Andre and I perfomed in Dancing with the Kstate Stars! You can watch our video here. You should check out the rest of the videos from the show too, the whole thing was really awesome.
Friday was Classy Dinner on the town. We chose Olive Garden, it doesn't get much classier than over eating the appetizers and drinking endless amounts of peach tea!
Saturday Amanda dyed Deidre's and my hair, kind of on a whim. It's only semi-permanent though. Something different, gotta keep things interesting. We had ice cream cake, went two-steppin, and then I turned 23!

...and then I stayed up til 5:30 a.m. posting things about birthday week all over the internet.(I think it might be because of the sudafed I had to start taking AGAIN because I might be getting sick AGAIN.) To see the rest of the pictures from the week, go see the Facebook album.

Birthday Week Trials

On the most stressful day of birthday week, God told the people at Daily Bible to make this todays verse:

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Birthday Week--Monday

Early morning tap rehearsal, classes, blah blah. I ate an Entire foot of Subway sandwich in a dark studio with my dance friends, video in jazz class, DQ with Baman, then my first day pb the job picking up the triplets and helping them do chores (they have soo many animals!). Chem test I feel pretty good about, and then preparations for tomorrows event: breakfast!

A Single-Chic Valentines Day

The first portion of the day was about 14 Tap-a-Grams. It was a really good year for them, too. Lots of fun, and I got to do most of them with Baman!
That evening Kerri and I shared a dinner of Panda Express, and played (very poorly) dollar pool at the Union. That night we flipped back and forth between The Bachelor and K-State stomping the another out of "#1" KU in basketball. Then Amanda and I got McDonald's (just a Sunday for me) and ended the night with P.S. I Love You.
I don't get why people hate Valentines day just because they're single, I had an AWESOME day!

get well quick

I'm sick and she isn't letting up. But, with the help of my team here I think we can kick her from here to last Tuesday (when I got sick the first time) where she belongs.

posting from bed -- the future is now

Besides using a laptop to do it. Beside the point.

Superbowl weekend was awesome, I got a new phone (Droid Incredible) which is super tight, and why I can post from bed. Also I got to see my family! And THEN Jordy Nelson and the packers won the superbowl! Doesn't get much better than that.

It did get all blustery here in Manhattan agai thougn. Oof. And this afternoon I spent two hours in the physics help room, trying to get help on my lab. Note: trying. It took hree tutors about 45 minutes to figure it out. Confidence: inspired.

Not gonna be the one to say goodbye

So far 2011 has been like this:
Kicked it off by Cirque du Soleil: Alegria in Wichita

Then a New Years party at Irene's

I went to Las Vegas for a Parker Chiropractic Convention with Bobbie, Jeff, Tara, and Dan.

And saw Cirque du Soleil: Ka there

The third little kid in this video has made quite the impact on our apartment.

And then school started. I'm taking Cardio Respiratory Physiology, Chem 1, Physics, Dance Composition, Jazz 3, and Holocaust Literature and am in a Jazz piece and Tap piece for SpringDance, as well as performing in Dancing with the Kstate Stars with Andre McDonald during birthday week. It's a busy semester, but a good one. Full of a total of 2 snow days so far (resulting in Bumblebee pancakes)

Game nights, movie nights, lots of two-steppin at Longhorns, and Josh Abbott Band this Thursday!
