New Alice

There's a new Alice in town, and I'll give you a hint. It's not Josh.
I wouldn't lie about that.

Spring Break

What'd y'all do?
It had started out all snowy, and on Wednesday when Kasey and I were fixin to leave for Wichita, it started snowing AGAIN.
Chris and Jenette met Kasey and me at the mall, and we headed out for Texas. After a few car doors not getting shut properly (but Locked, mind you), and some missed turns, we were actually on our way. One of the rest stops we got gas at was part casino, and since you had to be 18 to get in, and I am, we watched Chris have a go at the slots. Unfortunatley the machines didn't take cash, so we didn't win. But we didn't lose :)

This is the Turpins' backyard. I'm definatley living on a lake when I get my own house.
Thursday night Chris, Nette, Audrey (Chris' sister), her husband TJ, Lyndi, and I went to Whataburger for shakes. Lyndi half0-way accidentally shot picante sauce all over TJ.
Friday we took Audrey and TJ's daughter Ava (almost 2 years old) to the park.
She's pretty cute.
Ugh, I freakin love it.
Friday night us kids plus TJ's cousin and his wife all went bowling. We had unlimited games for two hours, so we played a couple different ways. First we played just regular type, then the next was left handed, scores from that game shown below. Lyndi and I both did better with our left hands than we did with our right. The lanes oil patters were messed up or something.
Then we played speed bowling.
Afterwards we went to Whataburger again. The sheriff showed up, so I went and had a chat with him. Nice fella.
Saturday Chris, Nette, Lyndi, and I went to the mall. We ate a this place called Which Wich, where you wrote on the bag everything you wanted then they made your 'wich' if you will, and put it in the bag. Good times, but they were short handed so it took us like 35 minutes to get our food. Ieeee. After the mall, all of Chris' family met us at Pastafina for Chris' birthday dinner (which is today, the 26th).
After dinner, we came home and gave Chris his suprise cake.
This is Ava, Brenda (Chris' mom) and Chris chillin. We played Mind Trap for a while.
Here is Audrey and TJ. He is demonstrating how to open a sleeping person's eye without waking them up, which he also demonstrated on his sleeping two year old.
Then we sat around and drank some crunk juice, aka hi-c.
This is Joe (Chris' dad) learning how to take a picture of himself with a camera.
I know I've posted about it before, but I must reitterate (sp?) that Lipton peach tea is sooo freakin gewd. Any of those teas are good, really. I drank a bunch while on the road.
And now I'm home, and school is tomorrow. *sigh* Let me catch you up real quick.

Sally, aka Alice, moved to Tennessee. Yeah, I know.
I am no longer a vegetarian. I just couldn't eat cheese anymore. To those of you who feel the need to comment, shhh.

Just a little taste

I'm not even going to tell you the events from today. You'll just have to wait until tomorrow...which is sort of ridiculous, because who checks my blog at 1 am anyway? Well, if you do. Here I am, dangling the events of my day in your face....and then Taking them away :) *My new laugh*

First Day of Spring

10 inches. Seriously Kansas?

Sunday, March 19, 2006

And then I got lost in quizzes

You Are 50% "Average American"

You are average because you donate to charity.

You are not average since you don't think affirmative action is necessary.

No one tells me I'm only 50% American. Especially if it's because I don't believe we still owe blacks stuff.

Your Scholastic Strength Is Innovating

You are the master of new ideas, techniques, and ways of looking at things.
You are talented at structuring thoughts, decision making, clarifying, and making deadlines.

You should major in:

Marketing
Psychology
Desgin
Cognitive Science
Economics
Photography

On the other hand, this has a BUNCH of things I was looking into doing.

You Are Not Scary

Everyone loves you. Isn't that sweet?

Could this be why I get frustrated with postitions of power i.e. director in a play? I could be scary, I just...I'm not even going to bother finishing the freakin sentence. My freshman year Regier told me she'd teach me to be scary. So far, I've sternly talked to a couple people. Haha, it's cool though I'm over it.

I passed

You Passed 8th Grade Math

Congratulations, you got 9/10 correct!

I got this link from Maria, who I'm guessing got it from Nicole, who got it from Shannon. I only missed one, silly thing is, they don't tell you which one you missed. Odd.

Janitors-- We Mop Stuff

Today was Brenden's 8th birthday, so Rhonda, Dave, and I went to his party...So he likes Texas...ummm. He's only 8, I'll let it slide.
After the party I went to Addison's and we watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose. It was alright. Then we looked for a game to play or a puzzle for awhile, couldn't find one, and watched the new family guy. Then I went to Wendy's and came home.

Last night I hung out with Kasey and Stana and we ate at the Charro. Ahhhh it was fab. Then we saw Stanana's new apartment, which is super nice. Good for her. Then I went and hung out w/ Addison and Kaleb. Whew. I think I'm gonna go to bed early tonight. Working out at High Plains tomorrow, and Don has a brand new employee. I hope he's not a tard, otherwise we're going to have some problems.

ps. It's supposed to snow like 4 inches tomorrow. That is soooooo ridic.

Forget you knuckel-heads

I found this in the freezer. Spelling mistakes are often funnier than you would assume.

Tryouts are almost over with and then it will be spring break! Quick News:
*AJ and I came up with a movie, and hopefully will actually make it because it would be fabulous.
*Spring break is next week, I'm going to TX with Nette and Chris

With that, here's the outlook for the next week:
Friday- 4:00 go watch tryouts. Go to the show around 8. Go to the Dance team Senior Sleepover
Saturday- 10:00 am-2:00 pm paint drops with the MAD crew at the high school. After that, go tanning with Lauren and Kelsie. After that hopefully hang out with Kasey since she'll be in town
Sunday- Work on my english paper
Monday- 9:00 am go work at high plains for the day
Tuesday- Sometime in the afternoon do a photo shoot w/ Kristen and Caitlin
Wednesday- Leave for Wichita, hang out w/ Kasey
Thursday- Nette and Chris pick me up on they're way to Texas
Thursday through Sunday- Party with the Granbury rollin crew
Sunday- 12ish Drive home

Sounds pretty ok. For now, I'm tired. However, I did figure out the genotype for our kids eye color if me and Addison ever get to that. Pretty much we're looking at 75% brown and 25% green. Eh, I'm down with that.

ps. I talked to my old skool friend Eric Leisher today, that was pretty neat.

Gunnnnnnnny :)

Look at this dog. I love him. He's a lab/pointer, and is one year old. He lives at the humane society, aka the pound aka we kill dogs when Michelle can't bring them home. So..if you want a dog, go save Gunny and I'll come over and play with him all the time and love him forever and ever. Easily like the 5th cutest dog ever.

Cheshire Cat

Here is our one night stand Cheshire Cat, Brenda. :) Isn't she cute? She'll make her debut on the closing night of MAD (in case you didn't hear, it's because Regier is going on a forensics trip the last night). What a gal, helping us out like that. She and Sally are also trying out for dance team, which is doubly fun.

**Update: She's now the Cheshire Cat for friday and Saturday night. Dang, I can't call her our one night stand anymore. That's ok, she's still our Aids. AND she's still totally going to make dance team**

New Layout! and other short stories

In case you were wondering "what the crap", Shannon and I completely redid the template for my blog today/night. It took awhile, but it was pretty fun, and I learned a lot about html and adobe illustrator. So good.

Shannon and Nicole made steaks tonight for din din. This is Nicole's reaction to A1 sauce flying all over the kitchen.

This is what Shannon and I looked like for a good portion of the evening. We switched seats a couple times and ate supper, but thats about it.

Chris and Nette edited Shannon's (thesis?) paper most of the time they were here. Now I'd like everyone to direct their attention to Chris' shirt (if you're eyes can't tell, it says 'gangsta').

Rhonda played Kitty Cannon. Go ahead, give it a whirl. It's especially entertaining if you don't like cats.

We shall be coming home tomorrow, after we eat at Panera for lunch. Mmmm, if I had to choose a way to end a trip to Manhattan, that would certainly be it.

Rock Lobster

I love it. But I hate it. But I love it.

Dear the b-52's,
You are far past rediculous.

Saturday, March 11, 2006

But it wasn't just a rock

It was a rock Lobster! (Ps. if you're gloomy, visit Shannon's page. It'll rock the gloomy right out of you.)

On with the posting. We got into town yesterday at about 12:30, and hung out on campus for a bit before we went to the business building. Rhonda and I had already taken the tour once, but we had to again for some reason, if we wanted to meet with the advisor. The girl that gave us the tour looked soooo much like Jenna Eisenhauer, it was fun.

Afterwards, we got together with the fam, and we all ate at Song Long Salloon.

This pencil had some good advice, I'm glad someone was courteous enough to leave it on the ground to share with my family. Thank you kind stranger.
Then we all came back to Shannon's apartment and talked about Roth IRAs. I know what you're thinking, and Woot indeed. :) Then, when everyone went to their respective apartments, Shan and I played Mario Kart. We were green team, and we owned everyone else.

Then we watched Survivorman and I fell asleep.

I can't understand how I think...

You probably wouldn't know it from the picture, since it doesn't do the evening justice, but the sunset tonight was gorgeous. Everything is always so pretty from our front porch...I enjoy it.

Eddie "Junkinthe" Trunk

We took myspace pics, here are some more. It was a big step in our relationship. We're such myspace whores.

Dance Dance

We had the dance team banquet tonight. It was fun, but it's so sad that it's all ending already. Debbi and Julie got all us seniors roses. She made everyone pretty teary eyed with her little speech..and by everyone I mean her, Lauren, and me, but whatev.

I think all of us girls are staying and going to the juco here, and they're all trying out for dance team there. Not gonna lie, they sucked me in. Hopefully it'll be fun if they are all there. I'm glad I don't have to miss them yet :) '06

And next years captain is...Bailey! How fun for her, I think Belinda was happier than she was.

I don't think you're ready for this Jelly

The other night before we had to dance, Aj, Lauren, and I went and got Chelsey a Jones Soda and took it to her at work. Then we took pictures with our bottles. And then we took this in the car before we went to Target and I got frames :)

And look who showed up at dinner tonight as my final birthday suprise! Awww I miss her.

ps. I just realized we were making the same faces. It was meant to be.

St. Petersburg Ballet

Rhonda and I went to see it tonight. They're on only their second tour through the United States, I believe. It was pretty good, just a little dry in my opinion. If you happen to catch up with it, just know the second act (I thought, Rhonda disagreed) was way better than the first. Anyways, it's fun that Garden is getting these things to come through. Next up, Panera :)

Come OOON Garden, get with it. Commence ta' jigglin. COMMENCE TA' JIGGLIN!
