First of all, friday Shelby and I went to the college's production of Sweeney Todd. And loved it. They did a swell job, not a lot of people like the story I guess, but I pretty much dug it all. I like freaky stuff like that though...meh.

So THEN, Saturday us girls (Chelsey, Nicole, Jessica, Lauren, and me) got together at Barbara's and got ready for the Halloween party at Pete and Tyler's. We also stopped by a soccer/softball party...that wasn't a costume party, mind you. Their's is tomorrow. So that's good that we have something fun to do on real-Halloween. Very long stories short, Saturday night was absolutley rediculous, but so much fun nonetheless. All of our costumes turned out really well :)

Since I made so much hype about my costume, here's a better look. My wings were pretty cool, but they ended up falling off. You can't tell, but my shoes=AMAZING.

Mmm, so fun. Tonight there's a haunted house thing at the state theater that Chels, LB, and I are going to. I LOOOOVE Halloween!

Is it bad that I think spray'n'wash smells reallllllly good? Ie. I got some on my fingers and I keep smelling them...I was always afraid of crap like this when I was a kid. Always scared I'd accidentally turn into a druggie or something.

So I'm chillin in my starbucks garb, and I get to thinking. There's alot of people I miss right now at this very second. For instance
~Shannon, Nicole, Chris, and Nette. I'm sad they don't live in my town anymore.
~Kaleb, Tyler, and Josh slash the whole Ortega family. The way things used to be.
~Sarah Williams. All the crazy crap we did together.
~Leslie and Jennifer. I just plain miss hanging with them.
~Kasey and Stana. I see them around every now and again, but...PH*no*S is lagging, and I don't like it one bit.
~Kinross. I don't want to talk about it. I even miss Rosie like ->this<- much.
~Addison and his mom. Both, but for different reasons.
~Adam Brungardt. Running to the back at work every day to say hi.
~AJ. Telling him not to ditsch 5th every day.
~Regier. In all her "I'm Jenny Regier" glory. Plus her stories.

There's more. I know this was boring. So I will quit. But I freakin TOLD you I miss a bunch of people...Michelle's little world is slowly falling to pieces all around her. And I won't lie to you, she's not havin it.

On a brighter note, my halloween costume is complete. And yes, I'm still going to bee a bumble bee. Party at Pete and Tyler's this weekend. Excited? Why, yes I am.

I went to message Tom, the guy that co-invented myspace, and I had to go through like 3 screens and a pop up message, just so it can tell me that he can't recieve messages since his status is set to "away". I didn't even know you could DO that. Darn you Tom, knowing all the secrets of myspace.
Anyways, I was going to email him and tell him that I wish I could be his best friend so we could go get ice cream together and make fun of minorities and kids that cut themselves. *sigh* I guess he'll never know my true feelings.

ps. tonight was LAME. NOTHING was going on. But I went to Cole's and we watched the final episode of The OC's season 1. He's never seen any episode...woops. He asked for it. Cole's a funny guy, I work with him at Target, we had orientation together.

Now I shall go watch more tv shows on dvd, fall asleep, and not wake until 2 in the afternoon!

Divorces, Grandma, and Dreams(icles)

Since last post, things have happened. Not crazy traumatic things, so no worries.
*We danced with the kids clinic girls at the football game (which we won).
*Lauren got her very first picture with Rhonda taken (lucky duck).

*Our dance team got divorced, but we reconciled and are pretty much better again.
*An old guy came through my line while I was cashiering and told me TWO jokes (I'll post them in a seperate post).
*I went to visit Grandma.

*Rhonda helped me with my psych. speech and took me to dairy queen half way through for some encouragement.
*Lauren started working at Starbucks, last night was her second night, our first by ourselves together. SO fun. We didn't get closed until like 10:15, but that's ok. We work together for the next two days :)
*I downloaded music from A Goofy Movie, Keith Urban, and "The Way You Make Me Feel" by Michael Jackson slash the Center Stage soundtrack.
*Jon D. posted a bulletin with this picture.

The Smoke and I went to Scott today. Good times, hanging with the fam. After we got back, LB and I went to Wendy's and had a nice talk. Then we went to Pete's and joined him and Ty Ty at the Baron.

Last night I stayed the night at Lauren's. Kaleb came over and we ate ribs and watched Crash, which wasn't as good as what I was expecting. Still good, yet a bit of a let down.

Tomorrow Kaleb and I are going to Scott to hang with Terry, Coop, and the gang. This weekend the dance team has kid's clinic, then we perform with all our little students at the football game. It's going to be freezing!

Oh the good ol' days..

Party at Pattons house

This last weekend Lauren and I went to Manhattan to visit the fam and watch some good ole' fashion KSU football. So we took off at about 1 for the city.
Saturday we went to the game at 12:30, 2 hours before it began. And I will tell you one thing. It was friggin hott out there.
But, once the festivities started...well, it was still hott. But things got moving a bit and we could almost forget about how much we were sweating.
Pirate Willie tackled the crap out of stunt OSU mascot. Always a good time.
The game was super intense, especially when we started to do good. Jenette says "Oh yeah, we're awesome" and Chris says "Cha, yeah"
Well, the long and short of it is, in the last 6 minutes, I think about 3 touch downs were made. It was nuts. The crowd went wild. People were proposing, tops came off, I'm pretty sure I saw someone get Freeman's name tattooed on there arm right there in the stadium.

I lied.

However, it was exciting, especially when the end came and we had actually played a decent game. Leon Patton = Amazing. He played such a splendid game. Definitly MVP material. All the freshmen are doing good for being freshmen, and I've heard some positive outlook for upcoming seasons.
After the game we ate at Panera then joined Shannon's friend Jennifer and her friend at their camp site for smores, indians, and good times.
Lauren and I came home today, got to GC at around 6. The trip wasn't over the top, yet still a pleasently rad time. I'm pretty sure any time you add Lauren+The Fam+Kstate football+Winning+Smores+"Hey Ya" by Outkast it's going to = An enormously good time.

Summary of the trip->I threw out my back on the futon. Bahahaha....

The mom in our speech class brought everyone apples today! She's a super fab lady. Oh RaeLynn...
OH and, Josh (in the pic) is leaving for St. Louis sometime soon for the orchestra trip. So I won't see him till wednesday :( Love you Josh!

I completley forgot to mention that Saturday we partied for Dave's retirement! We went to the Queen and played cards afterwards. Woot!

Afterwards Kasey and I went to Pete and Tyler's to continue the festivities.

Happy Birthday LB!

Love that hoe. It was her 19th birthday today (the first, actually)!! Chelsey, Her, and her family went to the Chiefs game today, and I'm actually glad they won. Just for Lauren though. :)

I'm sorry you had a rough start to the weekend. I don't really know how everything turned out, but I really hope y'all made it to Denver and dominated in hockey. Anyways. Keep your chins up troopers.
