Lazy Saturday

Today I got up at a whopping 1:30 pm. 12 hours of sleep can sometimes make someone feel like they're wasting their day, I however view it as an accomplishment! Woop! When I got up I went to Maurices with Chelsey then she came to my house and helped me make my blanket (Rhonda helped too, later on in the day).

I know my readers depend on me to guide them towards the very best of the best snacks. Well my friends, if you're in the mood for cheesy fish-crackers, these little guys are the only way to go:
Other than a midly funny SNL, nothing seems to be on TV on Saturday nights. Tomorrow I'm going to watch The Invisible with some friends since Chelsey and Lauren have been all about it since they first saw previews.

When we were in a squirrel

Yeah Chels...I remember that time we were in a squirrel. Ps. If you were wondering, my friend Chelsey can't say the word "Quarrel". It's funny.
Last night was the first good night sleep I've had in about a month. My mommy gave me a benadryl, which is a wonderful thing. This isn't a picture from last night, but it should atleast give you a visual.

Tonight Chelsey and I just hung out at her house and watched Invincible, and by watched I mean we talked through the whole thing and caught the last ten minutes.
Before I went over there me and the madre went grocery shopping, came home and ate a bunch of tacos along with many other things and watched Friends. I love these nights.

Crystal Light Pong

Look, I don't know if you're ready for this jelly, but today I bought the O.C. season three dvds!!! They were on sale at Targay...it was a beautiful moment. They were actually glowing a bit when I first saw them on the shelf.

On a side note, read what AJ and I were up to one year ago today.

Did your arm heal faster than your heart?

I'm sorry to have to break this to everyone but...
Word on the street is Jupiter Sunrise broke up. And by on the street I mean Aaron from the band told me.

I don't want to talk about it.

You can leave your hat on

The weekend started on friday when I got out of class. To our pleasure, there wasn't a foot of snow on the ground, so Rhonda and I left town as scheduled.
Saturday morning the Kstate hockey team had a game in Kansas City at 8, so we left Manhattan at around 5:30.
Vans feel an awful lot like beds when you're not working with much sleep.
First the team played a local KC team, then they played KSU hockey alumni. They played really well, won the first, lost the second.

We rushed home when the games were done to go to the Japanese festival in the union! We slept through got to watch a tea ceremony, visited a bunch of fun booths, ate green tea ice cream, and...
...Watched a taiko drum group! That was definitley the coolest part.
On sunday I had a clinic for Classy Cats, just to work on technique and learn dances and stuff. It basically sucked, but I was very pleased to see that Lauren Richard, a senior on the high school dance team here in Garden, was there as well! So we were miserable together. Awww :)
In the evening, we went to a mongolian bbq place for Netter's birthday since it's today, but we weren't going to be able to celebrate it then. Afterwards we came home, ate dessert, and played "Would you Rather".
Today I had enrollment at Kstate, and it's looking like my fridays are going to be completly open! Gaahhhhh that's freakin exciting.
Next weekend: Sleeping. The whole time. Yesssssss....

Hey hey WHAT is going on here?

Mr. Belding, aka Dennis Haskins, came to the GCCC campus today! Hilarious, I know.
He talked in the cafeteria for awhile and answered questions, we played a little trivia, and he even gave us heart-warming-after-school lessons to take home.

We're practically best friends now, me and Richard.

Neveau Chicano

This last weekend Rhonda and I went to Manhattan because I had interviews at Smurthwaite. We ended up having to leave at 6 in the morning on Saturday due to friday's gay weather. Interviews went well, and we pretty much just hung out the rest of the day. Made our own lotions, went to Cold Stone, and then to Panera...

After Panera Shannon and I went to Baskin Robbins. Now, I love me some ice cream...but not that day. So to counter-act the two hits and one day, AND to prevent me from becoming a fattie, Shannon, Nicole, and I ran the Jardine 5. I lost. Bad.

There's only 3 weeks until Classy Cat tryouts, so Addison is helping me train. It's pretty fun.

Friday the 13th

Yesterday Lauren and I ate lasagna and played the OC board game with Chris and Jeremy from Starbucks! We should hang out with them more.
Late last night it started snowing. This morning outside looked like this from my window.
That ended up like this in the afternoon. (aka when me and Rhonda were supposed to leave for Manhattan.)
Instead of driving 4 1/2 hours on snowy roads, we made brownies from scratch for sundaes! They were yummy :)

Vassup vs. Ish don't think so

On a scale of 1-11, this day was 9. Mos Def. And here's why:
Piano was cancelled, so Lauren and I made salsa (shown below) and guacamole and
watched the O.C.
All we did in Political Science was watch Blood Diamond which is good. I mean, I'm not one for South African accents, and even I got into it.
After class Lauren and I ate more salsa and guacamole, then met Chelsey, Alexa, and Emily at the baseball games.
I got my prom pictures from AJ, and they were bangin.
I ate at Golden Dragon with Rhonda and Dave.
I hung out with Addison for the first time in a long time. He showed me this video...
ve laughed alot.
Later this night Lauren and I had to study for a test tomorrow in Sociology, but we didn't let that get us down!
My friend Ben text me this...
To which I replied this...
Because if there is one thing I hate more than forwards, it's text messaged forwards. And gays.

:)I'm kidding.

Aaand to top of a wonderful day, my favorite episode of Ron and Big is on!
Ugh, God Bless the USA.

I'ma find my bedroom

This weekend was Easter break and so my brother (just Shannon, Chris couldn't make it) and my sisters came to town! Last night we got a Caramel Java Chiller from Sonic, a Caramel Frappucino from Starbucks, and a Caramel Moolatte from The Queen to compare who had the best blended coffee drink. It was a close race between Starbucks and Sonic for some, but we agreed Sonic is better if one is in a milkshake sort of mood, whereas Starbucks is better for a coffee drink. We also agreed that the Moolatte from Dairy Queen came in last. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good. Mmm, quite a tasty experiment...
As we were sampling the drinks we played poker (mommy did too).
That night Shannon and I watched a show about Cuttlefish. I would pee my pants if I saw one while swimming in the ocean, but as I was safe in my bedroom, I found them to be really neat animals. They change colors, which puts them way ahead of any other fish in my book.
Today (Easter) the whole darn family came over for lunch. There was a TON of food, as you can clearly see. My mom rocked the Easter lunch, no question.
The preacher and his wife also came over...I like him mostly because he's such a great sport. For example:
After lunch we had an easter egg hunt!

It was terribly cold outstide, so eventually after our guests left Andy joined us (The madre, me, Shannon, Nicole, and Jenette) at Lone Star for a farewell dinner for the Manhattaniers. In the later evening Nathan and I watched Annapolis, which was fair.
In conclusion, it was a very pleasant weekend followed up by a very unpleasant bug I caught from Netter. Atleast I don't have school tomorrow :)

Mystery

First of all, it's 40 degrees outside. 5 days ago I was wearing a sleevless dress outside, and today I'm wearing a scarf.

Not the point.

I found this note on my car today after leaving sociology:

Actually, I saw it while I was driving so I read it after I got home...but the last time I checked I don't have a one and only so...a little akward, yes. I'm offering a reward of one yogurt smoothie to anyone that can give me a tip leading to the culprit.

Number 23 can't get a date!

So apparently I've recently developed a bit of insomnia. Yeah...basically, I rearranged my room for the first time in almost two years. Since then I haven't been able to get to sleep for a long time, when I did it's been really crappy sleep. I don't nap...I get up at 8 every morning...I don't like the looks of it.

On a couple brighter notes, since, what else am I going to do?
*Alexa, Lauren, Emily Zimmerman, Jenna, and I went to the baseball games this evening where we proceeded to laugh really loud the whole time and win hypothermia. It was fun, then we went to Lone Star.
*Shannon and Nicole are coming to town friday!
*There are no formal requirements to be a justice in the supreme court! Shut up, I'm doing it.

Boys Like Girls

Remember when I said I couldn't get the Boys Like Girls album anywhere but iTunes? Well, by that I meant iTunes and Target. So I did indeed get it at Target and my friends from what I've listened to, that is a brilliant cd. It's a has a good spring-and-on-into-summer feel. I'm definitely excited about the whole experience :)

The Glamorous

I definitely went to prom last night with one of my best friends Aj, accompanied by one of my other best guy friends Jawsh, and about 13 other people. We had a mexican feast at St. Mary's thanks to the moms, and then we dominated the walk-in (we have it on video, if your curious), following close behind was Jawsh and Emily's walk in. Here now is a barrage of pictures. Ps, if you were wondering, this was my 4th prom. I'm pretty sure it was one of the top, if not the best.
These were our dinner buddies that sat across from us, Liz and John.

This was Aj's toast.

Me and the moms, of course.
Correction, we had 20 people altogether. Oh yes, and another girl in our group mind you, had my dress. But she didn't have the black belt so...take that. It kinda sucked but it wasn't a bd.
Thats me and all the boyzzzz. Stud, I know.
We went to Wal-Mart...for some reason...No one wanted to be there, I don't really know how it happened.
After prom I went to see Lauren and Chelsey, but instead of seeing Chelsey I saw Nathan (shown) and Adam (not shown).
