I'm gonna be a scawy pumpkin!

And to top it all off, a stop in Tulsa. I chilled mostly during the day while Shannon and Nicole were at work. Sleeping, reading Twilight series, and watching the Office. But we kept it summer evening, such as by getting snow cones (not the sweet pickle ones, though they were available. B A R F)

My last day in town they had a hockey game which I don't actually know if they won or not. No score board, I found it hard to keep track.

Great summer trips, maybe a bit much on the driving side for my liking though. Would I do it again? 80th birthdays and Urban Oklahoma livin? Yeah I would.

The Ocho Cero

I feel like I cheated y'all out on my last trip from summer. After Texas I went to Longmont (later joined by Chris and Nette--a nice surprise for everyone) for my Grandpa's birthday. Do you see this man smiling? He doesn't DO that. Except for, of course, when we throw 72 balloons over a loft ledge onto to the floor below. He likes that :)
Basically too great NOT to share. This is Uncle Randy in his jammies that Grandma and Grandpa got him on some trip. And he wore those puppies like they were going out of style...well...

We do, don't we cousins? ...We really do...

Take a chance on me

Now I'm in Tulsa, hanging out with Shannon and Nicole for a couple days. I got lost a bunch of times driving to their work today to go to lunch with them. Then I kind of missed an important turn after that trying to find a Barnes and Noble. BUT eventually I made it there and spent a long time looking for a new book to read. I didn't really want to do it, but I don't feel I had any other option but to buy the second Twilight book in the series, New Moon.
For dinner tonight we went to a Japanese place and had a bunch of sushi. This one in particular had a lot of those orange fish egg things in it, not a favorite, especially of Nicoles.

Also, on the way down to Tulsa last night (Shannon rode with me and Nicole drove herself from Wichita), Shannon and I listened to about 450 of RTL Top 1000 songs. Which had "Take a Chance on Me" by Abba. I don't believe this is the official video, but it's funnier than the one I think that is.

Andy sings it on one of his favorite episodes of the office, but since I can't find that clip, this one will have to suffice.

Oh crapz

On Memorial Day we had a HUUGE BBQ with way too much food. This was my part, the vegetable shish kabobs, which were very yummy!
Chris and Shannon ate WarHeads...so that...
This whole trip we've played Pandemic alot, which I really enjoy. We've even won a couple times!
Later that day we played Disc Golf at a really nice park in JoCo.
And that night we played a ton of video games, including Street Fighter, Braid, I built an awesome tower on SwimTower, and Peggle, which Shannon and I stayed up til 7
The time spent in KC also included very many trips to HyVee...one trip in particular was especially funny...

Clap Clap Wizards *raise hands*

Saturday Shannon and I went to KC to meet with Nette and Chris and stay at Newgen's. We ate at T-Rex, which was the first time I'd ate under jellyfish and next to Dinosaurs.
After that we went to a Kansas City Wizards soccer game! We sat in the cauldron, which is the fan section, so we cheered like mad futbol fans. SO much fun! Plus we ended up sitting next to Brett and Brian, Coleman's friends, completely by chance which was nuts. Our boys tied the Chivas (who we watched play the Rapids last summer), but we had two players get red-carded, so we held our own pretty well I'd say. My favorite, Wolff who was #16, was the first to be kicked out :(
After the game we went to Steak 'n Shake...I don't know where else you would go after a game. Chris and I got hats. Original Gangsta and Ballin since 1939.
We got some sweet gear from the game.

Biiiiite?

Baby got her first bath today! It was hot out, too. She better appreciate it.
Kasey and I got together and took Breck to get his first snow cone! It was summer-delicious.
This evening we had a BBQ with the family. Tara and I finally found the secret to making good s'mores on the grill (use utensils--grahms burn quickly on the grate).

Nappy Irish Roots

I've just been informed by my brother that my Grandpa Fuller's grandma's grandpa's father came to America from Ireland somewhere around the 1770's. Exciting ay?

Trips home

Jenette, Chris, and I all went back to Garden for Easter. Shannon and Nicole wanted to come, but things weren't working in their favor. We also had to go to our Uncle LaVern's funeral who was my Grandma's brother, so that was a bummer.

But we got to see all the family when we went home, so that was nice. Plus it rained pretty much the whole time we were there.

Mid-West Spring Break Tour '09

There were many trials and tribulations and singalongs on Coleman's and my journey.

First off, you should know our playlist included basically a rep of 4 songs with one added in closer to the end.
*"I'm on a Boat" The Lonely Island ft. T-Pain (I recommend you watch this video. It's bomb, but has a LOT of inappropriate language, so I would also recommend that you remove any children from your computers vicinity)
*"Don't Waste Your Whine" Crazy
*"Carry On My Wayward Son" Kansas
*"I'm So Ronery" Team America
And then after it played on the radio twice within the hour, we added
*"Big Papa" Biggie Smalls

I'd like to give you a small taste of the trip through photo
Our first stop was in Frankfort to visit his hometown, parents, and grandmother.
Then to Tulsa to see Shannon and Nicole, have a picnic in the park, and play disc golf on a sweet course.
Stopped in Stillwater to see Bev and eat at Whataburger.
Stopped again to gamble (for the second time, but at a much much nicer casino that a triple wide trailer in Osage)
Got to Garden to visit Rhonda and the zoo, along with Dave and Grandma.
Got to Brighton, CO to visit his Uncle Bobby and also hang out with his cousin Shantel. Coleman and Bobby both played for the faculty in the high school's faculty vs students game.
Almost went to a club in Denver with Geoff and his friends, but didn't quite make it.
Went to Estes and went inside the Stanley hotel for the first time.
Went back to Longmont where we had a big party with the family!

You can see all my photos here.

And that in a nut shell was the beauty that was our road trip. We've had a great time, shared a few laughs...join us next time with our guest Albert Einstein!

You should get your friend a stomach

That's the Christmas spirit Nicole!

Ok, bad news first:
-The Broncos lost last night to the Chargers 21-52, knocking them out of the playoffs. It's too bad, because I really love them. But it's a little bit ok because atleast Sproles had a good game.
-Because my defense crumbled last week, I ended up getting third in our Pirate Islands Fantasy Football league.

Better news and stories:
Mommy and I met Netter and Chris in Tulsa and we had our Christmas over the weekend! I feel everyone had a good time, and how could they not?--We went to the Tulsa branch of Casa Bonita!

Along with some other great gifts, everyone got together and decided to let me pick out a new camera AND mp3 playa! SO I got the Canon A1100 in a lucious brown:

And an 8G Sansa Fuze in light gun metal:

We picked up the Fuze in Best Buy on the way home and it's really tight, but the camera is in the mail to Jenette's house. It'll be nice to have a camera again!

Oh yes, we went to watch Shannon and Nicole play hockey on their team down there.

It was a pretty good game, until the end of "half time" if you will, when a guy on their team started fighting with the ref. Then it got even better!

This all happened right after the player hit the ref in the head with his stick. It was so stupid but highly entertaining!

Merry Christmas Everyone

We got up earlyish to watch Dave open all his presents and Mommy open hers from Dave. I was on photo duty, no presents for this guy.

We're waiting to have real Christmas in Tulsa, where we will be headed tomorrow morning and will meet up with Nette and Chris as well. I hope to slowly ween everyone off of Christmas presents and just do something cool every year, so as to avoid the stress of not only figuring out what to buy people, but thinking of something to tell people that you want. I'm not a Hallmark card or anything, but that reallly isn't the point of Christmas.

I'm tired but I just want to do projects!! Matilda is on...but there's not a whole lot of work on my end for that. AHHH but I just glanced over and the plates she puts pancakes on are the same brown and yellow ones that Grandma Fuller has. Freaky...

Oh hey, this is the new hair Kasey gave me. It's really fun to make it fluf.
Oh and hey, this is how cute Grant still is. He halfway repeats words you say now, AND sits with cats to pet them.

I love when people drink soda out of cans with straws, and I want to read the Ramona Quimby books that I used to in little school. Oh, and I got my lip pierced...but if you have paid any ounce of attention at all since July, you'd know that already. I just love reporting the news s'darn much!

I don't know bout y'all folks, but these kinds of posts is my favorite to make.

Not feed, not hay

I so badly want to break into the childrens literature scene.

My finals are done! I ended up keeping my C in Japanese, and I got a collective 86% on my Kin final, leaving me with an 88%. There was talk of a curve though...I hope Dr. Harms does the right thing.

Last Friday our apt opened our stockings and made gingerbread houses...well, the couples did, Sara, myself, and guest appearance Clavin were judges. Everyone got fun things, but Jim (Kerri's boyfriend) got a punching balloon! All good times until it hit a cup and spilled watered down soda onto my lappy. Luckily they turned it upside down quickly and we left a fan blowing on it for two days. Five days later I turned it back on and it works! Huzzah! And for the folk that didn't get the point of my story, here's a picture of the winning house by Kerri and Jim to hold you over until the next picture.
Catch up? Ok! Way way back Clavin and I went to see Casey Donahew at Longhorns, it was such an awesome show!!
The team played an all-night tournament in Wichita with an encore by Shannon and Nicole! It was a roller-coaster of super fun and "why was this a good idea?". They played pretty well, better than their somehow 5th out of 8th place though. I don't know if I would necessarily do it again, but something has to keep those boys on their toes.
Thanksgiving was a break VERY much needed, atleast in my neck of the woods. This picture essentially was natural until Mommy tweaked it a bit to be more pleasing to the camera's eye. Big time for me, this was the Thanksgiving I got to "be upstairs" with the "big kids". And I made sure the little ankle-biters knew it. Not. Invited. They can't drive Buicks anyway.
I danced in WinterDance '08 and girl let me tell you, one of the pieces I was in made front page Collegian!
One day of a break after those 4 nights of dress rehearsal and 4 performances, Micheal Wieser and I performed a piece we choreographed together in Student Spotlight to "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap.

And with a lot of details left out, here we are now. I need to finish Christmas shopping, and will be going home on Friday. Our family is doing Christmas in Tulsa, I want to go to Denver sometime, go back to Tulsa to hang sometime, and am coming back to Manhattan for New Years in Aggieville with Eve 6!!

I'll probably go to sleep now, but not before I post this video Derek in my Japanese class told me about.

Coolest, Funniest, Oldest guy I know

Poor Chad. He's 24 and always gets crap for it. But that's life friend. Atleast Jon Urban thinks so highly of you.

SOO summer is freakin on. I'm back from Colorado with the family. We went to a Colorado Rapids game against Chivas USA. We lost, but it had been a while since we'd been to a game, so it was still fun.

Chris, Nette, Daddy, and I all did some karaoke at a small Italian food/bar we ate at the first night. We also went to some antique stores, a festival in Boulder, the Mile High flea market (which was huge), Chris and I got some sick chicano shirts to wear to the races.

Linda ate a large ball of wasabi, I wore my rain boots alot, went to Casa Bonita.

Went to Grandma and Grandpas house for the first time in years, hung out with Randy, ate at Woody's. You know. The usual. It was a pretty good trip to the CO. Hey Jeaeffff....didn't you thank it was a good trep to the CO? :) Crazy tourists and their mallrat accents.

Last night it was hanging out w/ Jon D. and Urban, Chad, and some soccer folk. We walked from the apts to Kwik shop which actually took a while. But thats good, because we weren't doing anything.

I'm so glad to be done with school for the next couple months...except I guess I'm taking a summer class online. That shant be too bad, and because I'm doing that, I won't have any classes on fridays next semester! Suck one friday classes.

Oh hey, my boyfriend cut his hair! It looks really sharp :)
