This isn't a Rams Game!

This was our second to last weekend for hockey this season, and we were 2 and 1. Lost to ISU and Truman, BUT we beat SLU! And then we drove around downtown ghetto St. Louis trying to get to the Blues/Predators game. A guy sitting in front of Clavin and me (fate thought our seats should be together apparently) would stand up during the game, people way behind us would yell at him to sit down, and there would be a little verbal brawl. This happened a couple times, and everytime he didn't fail to mention that "This isn't a Rams game! Are you Rams fans? You're Blues fans! Stand up!" Hilarious. And drunk.

We also went to White Castle for the first between his 6 mini burgers and Mike and Geoff, they made up for it.

NOW guess what? It's birthday week! Later classes...just kidding.

Atama ga itai deshta!

Yesterday I had a super bad headache, starting before I went to Japanese and through my afternoon rehearsal. Bad enough I had to actively try not to cry. How did I handle it?
*Got an adjustment with Dr. Erickson, my chiropractor
*Bought a Dr. Pepper slushy from Dara's
*Watched internet tv in the dark in my bed under an electric blanket
*Ate some dinner

And I was G2 freakin G! Just cover all the problem areas: neck/back problems, caffiene, rest, and food. That's all you've gotta do man! Keep it in mind for next time.

What?! I Know!!

Will and I watched One Hot American Summer yesterday. At first I didn't think much of it, but boy howdy! It was pretty funny.

The Tap Ensemble did Tap A Grams all yesterday. It was freakin freezing! Pretty fun though.

I did one for Jenette from Chris and for Chris from Jenette. It was sneaky :) Julie said we raised over $1,000!
I also went to see Coraline with Netter and Chris later in the evening.

It was pretty cool, but actually pretty scary for being a kids movie. I surprised those little kids were giggling and having such a gay time. But if that's 30 less kids in the world that don't have to grow up being terrified of dolls, then good good deal.

And by the way, WHAT is with everyone hatin on Valentines Day?! I mean, it's not a shocker anymore because for as long as I've been out of elementary school people have been really cynical about it. However, it's just love man. Sure people are trying to pressure you to buy your sweetheart flowers, candies, diamonds, etc. BUT if you just don't, like you resist throughout the rest of the year when they're trying to get you to buy everything else, you can simply focus your efforts on doing something special one day out of the year for the person you love. And don't even say you don't need to have a day to show ______ that you love them, because if that's the case, then just do it on this day as well. And if you don't have a special someone, then love everyone! I'm not involved with anyone, but I just had a happy day of smiling at people and bringin the love.
Seriously, I don't know what it's an excuse for, but I know it's just an excuse when people hate valentines day. SO. I will be getting up to go to Target whne it opens at 8 am to buy up all the fantastic V-day clearance items. Bon Chance!

Do you like chocolate rabbits?!

I made a new friend in the dance dept, her name is Shannon, she has a rabbit named Oscar de la Noche, and she is hilarious. And an RLBP.

In more everyone else's life-effecting news, Kstate elected our new president to take Wefald's place, Kirk Schulz.

Doo Wop!

This weekend we had a tournament down in Denton, Texas. Jenette and I drove to Tulsa on friday, then Shannon and Nicole went to Denton with us the next morning. We lost all four game, but two of them they played really well.
New refs and rules probably didn't help much in the way of penalties. But it was a fun weekend...lots of driving though. Scott (one of the forwards) really needs to start flying us out, he has his pilots license.

Ahh pop punk

Dance punk, or indie dance, or funk punk, is really where it's at now.

The three main songs I've been skipping to constantly on the cd in my car are "Scene Change" by The White Tie Affair (that song isn't on their page, but they have a few on there). Also, "A Story to Tell Your Friends" by Every Avenue (that I saw back in November). Then from their new album, "Another Heart Calls" by The All-American Rejects (which also isn't on their page).

In addition, I've been listening to "Jamie All Over" by Mayday a bunch last night and today...but it's completely understandable since it's the all-time right now.

Guerilla Capitalism

I had tea with Will this evening (after a boring hockey practice--which the Collegian came to), and he is still as interesting as ever.

On a more sneezing and watery-eyes note, my Allegra prescription ran out and lately but especially today, my allergies have been kicking my butt. Kiiind of like this:

No Sleep Til Brooklyn!

Did you WATCH the SuperBowl?! Only two things could have happened to make it the very best it could be: Arizona could have won (Thank you Kurt, Larry, Dockett, Hightower, and the rest of the non dread-bearing gang for all your fantastic efforts),
and we could have NOT ate so many darn cookies.

Other than that, GREAT game! We watched it at Irene's house in Wichita with a lot of the family plus Andy!
It was also Jayme's 25th birthday, so Nicole made her a stadium cake that the dogs ate half of!
If I could go have lunch with two people in the world right now, I would choose Larry Fitzgerald and...probably just a lunch with him again the next day. And we are not bandwagon people. Did you know the Cardinals moved to AZ the year I was born? It's fate. Nay, destiny. And no one thought we'd even make it this far. I'm going to write him a letter! In fourth grade I wrote Leonardo DiCaprio a letter...this isn't the same.
