We should have ditched

Tuesday was Caitlin's birthday so me and the fam put our heads together and figured out a present and card for her! (We have Natural Disasters together every tues. and thurs. morning)

Needless to say she loved it and hung it on her wall.
Yesterday was Wilton's birthday (Shannon's officemate). Kerri's is next sunday.
Holy crap birthdays, slow down!

It's My Pants!

Yesterday we went to Radinas to do our loads of homework and noticed a bunch of people standing outside the window. Turns out Chipotle was giving out free burritos to anyone with a K-State ID. We opted for Applebees instead.
This one goes out to Mommy since I'm not ordering the composite pictures we took here.
I think my lip does the same thing that Jenette's does when I smile, good thing I'm over it.

Quad Date!

So I hardly believe that I have only lived in Manhattan for 9 days. This week has probably been the longest week of my life! I've never studied or walked this much. But it has been fun. Let me give you the run down of the classes.
US Politics: the teacher is pretty cool, he more like talks about stuff than he does lecture.
Japanese: Pretty fast paced, but not too terrible. It's kind of a neat language to learn. My friend Scott Mcauliffe from Garden is in there, so that makes it nicer that we sometimes don't know what's going on together.
Jazz Dance: The teacher is soooo sweet, I love her. The dancing is way fun, too.
Natural Disasters: Oh my goodness, sooooo boring! And there's like 400 people in there, including Buckner from the hockey team, and my friend Caitlin who's dating Addison.
Fund. of PR: Our teacher gave us the option to either take this class traditional lecture style or online, so I opted for the latter. I'm pretty stoked about getting done at 12:30 on Thursday and 9:30 on Friday, it works well with me.
K, so after all that I think you should know I loove my roommates. Kerri and Erin, yes I definitely lucked out with these ones. I bought us this Jesus-head for a bargain price of $5 dollars. You know, to spice the place up a bit.
And my laptop came in!
At the activities carnival Thursday the hockey team had a car bash at which they raised a lot of money for the team. Pat Bosco, Dean of Student Life, even took a swing. But this is Shannon:
Last night we figured this was a hard week and we needed a break from thinking about school and homework so we went to dinner at Willies then visited some of Kerri's friends.
After that we went to hang out with Erin's friend who lives at a frat.
So we were all hanging out then we went to Gumby's with some of our new friends.
It was a pretty fun night, and it was nice to meet some new people up here!
(That's Erin, Me, Kerri's friend Sara, and Kerri herself.)
So far this college business isn't tooo bad. :)

Just a quick update before I go to bed--
I didn't fall off the planet or anything, I just didn't expect to be this busy with college crap! Tomorrow is definitely Saturday which mean I have all day to lounge and post,
and I will catch you all up then. It was a pretty fun night!

We're best friends!!!!!!

So I'm all moved in here up at Smurthwaite in Manhattan. I have the middle bed of which I was leery at first but oh no, I'm rockin it. My roommates (Kerri and Erin) are pretty cool, and I'm actually thinking my classes might be pretty fun as well. Nothing exciting is really going on yet, just been hanging out with the fam mostly. Tomorrow all the festivities start, a bbq, black and white dinner, and I'm sure dozens upon dozens of get-to-know-you games.
Not so sure about that last one.
But, if you were wondering, now that I'm actually up here I'm getting more and more excited and less and less sad about being here and leaving home. Rhonda's still here though,
we'll see how all that goes on Sunday when she leaves. We won't talk about it though.
This is fun!
And I have memory foam on my bed which makes my outlook on everything just a bit brighter.

Definitely

I had a little going away Bbq tonight. It was pretty sweet, most of the people I will actually miss came so I got to say a bunch of goodbyes in one clean sweep.

The hard ones are going to be tomorrow...mostly Stana and Chelsey.
Aj and I don't have an emotional relationship.
We'll probably just make an inappropriate joke and go our separate ways. There are a couple others too. Crappy part is I left the majority of my packing to tomorrow,
and along with all the other crap I have to, it's going to be a busy busy day.
Hopefully I just don't have time to cry. Emo? Yes that sentence was.

It's Ron..No, Neville! Yes!

Yesterday Stana, Kasey, and I took some last PH*no*S pictures before we don't all live in the same town together. It was sweet.
Today Jeremy, Chris and Sonny made me dinner at their apt. Dwaine, Britney, Lauren, and Krissy were also there at one point. We ate taquitos and played Harry Potter Scene It! It was very fun, also, Jeremy made me a painting and almost made me cry. It, too, was sweet.

These boots were made for walkin it out

Stana says brilliant, I say innovative. These ladies were way ahead of their time,
but I think they knew what they were starting.

Respect the Kong

Went to breakfast at Dillons this morning, ran, then took a not-so-satifying 30 minute nap before Kasey, Breckin, Stana, Zoe, and I left for El Charro in Dodge!
Someone pooped out early on the way...
When we got back me and the moms went to dinner then had a 2 1/2 hour adventure in Wal-Mart! We got basically all the stuff I need for college, so that's out of the way.
Hung out with Stana and friends and Matt's for a bit then hung out at Aj's with his family and Jawsh. We drove around, went to Wal-Mart, got Taco Bell then got tired and went home.
Me and Jawsh had to hug goodbye since I won't see him before he leaves on Sunday. We've never touched much let along hugged before tonight but...
I don't care I love me some Ginger and already miss him. Oh yes, and that's right, I did say he's ginger now.

How the mighty beards have fallen...

A) Today I got up at 7 am to go to Kadee's with Rhonda before she went to work.
Afterwards I ran 2 miles instead of the usual 1, and by run I mean walked 1/3 of that with Addison. I bought TWO black tank tops, both on sale at Target, cleaned the bathroom,
and ate at Jeremy's Pizza Hut with Mommy. What a day!
Oh, and last night we spent all evening cleaning my room,
and can I say that I don't think it's been that clean since I moved in there! It's beautiful.
So I was sitting in the back yard this evening and took this picture.
It's not doctored at all, that's just how me and the freakin camera roll.
Then tonight we went to Time Out because JD and Mike Lamar were in town!
(That's JD, who I seriously hadn't seen in probably atleast a year or two.)
Tomorrow morning the moms and I are going to get breakfast at Dillons,
then Kasey, Stana, their babies, and I are going to Dodge for some Charro!

Soft Serve...if you know what i mean

Yesterday I got ice cream with mommy and Dave after doing a bit of shopping.
Today I started the real cleaning, my desk has never been this dusted, it's insane.
I vistited Stana, then tonight AJ, Jawsh and I went to dinner at El Camino.
The moms and I finished Friends Season 1, then Dilly went with me to Wal-Mart.
It was a pretty productive day and I like it like that.

Only one DIMple

My last day at work was last Tuesday and thank goodness. My first customer ordered a Verde Vanilla Latte. Unfortunately for her, we quit serving green lattes at 8:00 am. Zach talked me into staying and closing with him, therefore working 10 hours and the longest shift of my time at Starbucks. But it was worth it to see him throw a cup full of mocha at the trash and miss.
Thursday Rhonda and I set off for one last hurrah to Wichita before I move next week,
and we made a couple pit stops along the way.
First was in Dodge to The Charro, and even though they messed up my order,
it was still delightful.
Then we stopped in Hutch to see my best friend from when I was a kid Sarah Williams (Duarte), her husband Ray, and their new baby Moses! He has her nose, and it is soooo adorable.
We saw Shannon, Nicole, and her family when we got to town that night. The next day we shopped a bit and went to see the show Run For Your Wife at The Crown Uptown Theatre.
I was still hungry later that night so me and mommy went to a nearby Denny's. AJ will be the only one that understands, but it was a scene straight out of The Hills Have Eyes. Everything from a full grown crack baby seating us to getting seated right next to the restrooms. I can't say anymore than what my face is in the picture.
Saturday we shopped until we almost, in fact, dropped. Then we met up with Shannon, Nicole, Irene, Jayme, and baby Nicole at P.F. Changs for a late dinner.
This is Shannon showing baby Nicole the ducks in the lake right behind the restaurant.
Today we came back home. We passed through Greensburg, which was the first time I saw it since the tornado. They're starting to patch things up but it was still a mess.
Poor little trailer never even saw it comin.
I'm glad we got to take this trip, it was a lot of fun and something to
remember when I miss her at college...
I don't want to talk about it.

Vegas!

We had Vegas Night for Stana's birthday yesterday! Gah, some of our friends are so hott.
They make great transvestites too!
Me, the vegas dancer, and Stana Banana, the runaway bride.
What's a Vegas party without some fine ladies...
...Some dancin...
...And hitting people realllly hard with plastic bats?!
Yup, couldn't have done it any better with another group of people.
