Get Fuzzy

About a week ago Stana sent me the link to a Get Fuzzy comic strip. She said she only really sent it for the first frame, and I've got to agree with her. The first frame is way funnier than the rest of the cartoon.

Birthday Singers

Cassie gave me this link for my birthday. It's a rabbit and a kitty cat that sing, and are funny. Check it out nigs.

I'll fill you in on the rest of yesterday. Rhonda and Dave gave me their presents when they got home from work (season 5 of Friends and the Secret Garden). Then I went to the bank to cash a check and the teller wished me a happy birthday, because he saw my car. Also while I was waiting at a red light a lady was like "Hey is it really your birthday?" and I told her yes, and she was like "Happy Birthday! It's my daughter's 18th birthday today too!" So I thanked her and went on my way.
Stana came and got me and made me follow her all around freakin town, and we ended up at Addison's. He made spaghetti for dinner so he, his mom, Stana, Zoe, and I ate dinner together, and Stana got me Rent so we watched that. It was a gooood birthday :)

ps. There was ice cream involved as well.

The Birthday Miracle

So let me tell you about my birthday up until now. So the day started w/ Gary as my alarm clock since I seemed to have shut mine off in my sleep. At 7 o'clock he called me and sang me happy birthday and we chit chatted for a bit, I teetered in and out of conscienceness (sp?) then we hung up and I got ready for the day. Went to class, pretty standard, then Josh, AJ, and I decided to go to Peking Garden for lunch (I went to Peking 1 for my freshman birthday, and Peking 2 for my senior birthday! How fun). It was yummy, as usual. Then I went to Tech where Regier had decorated a table for me.

Her and I had a talk about the things that we talk about and she, once again, saved the day. Then I went out to my car to go home before college class and she had had some of the kids from class (or she did it, I dont know, it's just the same balloons and streamers she had) decorate my car.

So on my way home I saw Addison, his mom, and Partyman out in their front yard. So I stopped by. Then I told him I wasn't going to go to english and he agreed that I shouldn't have to go on my birthday and then I argued back and forth with myself. I've never been the not-go-to-class kinda gal. So finally I decided not to go. So I came home for a bit, then with 15 mintues left before class started, of course, my "don't be dumb" kicked in, and I went. Right when I was fixing to park I saw everyone in my class coming out and I was like 'oh shut up' and yelled "Tell me we don't have class!" And they did in fact tell me we didn't have class. So I came home and watched Friends.

And that my friends, is the story of the birthday miracle. The day isn't even over! Birthdays are wonderful.

**Correction: Stana did the table in Regier's room And my car. What a gal :)**

Ever wonder...

What goes down at senior dance team sleepovers? Yeah...I didn't really know what I was getting myself into. But friday night was a lot of fun. Those girls...ahhh I love um. ( I meant to post about this for a long time, but I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm really lazy when it comes to my 56k connection speed.)

So we all dressed up and made music videos on Lauren and Chelsey's camera. My camera got in on some of the video action, but i'm not going to mess w/ uploading it. Pictures will just have to do.

So here we have Beckster...in all her afro and tutu glory.

Me and Piper...I was wearing a cape too, but it got hott.

Here's the rest of the crew (Claudia aka fish scales, Lauren and last years prom dress, Chelsey with the one roller blade, and Kelsie the whitest thug I know.)
I must say, I've never loved a group of girls more than I do these ladies.

Geology Rocks

Today we had my pre-birthday family party. It was alot of fun, here's the guest list:
Tara and Dan
Bobby, Jeff, and the kiddies
Rhonda and Dave
Grandma
Addison and his Mom

We had grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch...ahhh 20 cheese sammiches in my house all at the same time. WHAT a birthday it's starting to become. Then we had a rockin ice cream cake. Rhonda did good at throwing the party. Bravo Rhonda, Bravo.

It was such a pretty cake. And soooo good.

I was struggling to open the package that Gary sent me. And I'm not gonna lie, I wanted to post a picture of Addison.

ps. i'm officially 18 right now. How fun :)

Did It

Here is a video of a dance team doing the dance we learned at camp this summer. Every team learned it, but they changed the music. They changed a couple of the moves, and it looks really good, just the music isn't as fun. Here's a link to ours, if you'd like to compare.

My pimp walk

Thanks to Nicole, I got to take this quiz to find what my pimp walk is.

Rent

Addison and I watched Rent tonight. Can I just say, what a wonderful movie. He actually didn't mind it either, so that made me feel better about him watching it to humor me, basically. Love it.
Today, pretty easy day, nothing too special besides the aformentioned (sp?). We dance March 3 and 4 now. Just when we think we'll be done, we get booked again. But I don't mind, I'm not ready for dance team to be over yet. Oh, ps. I'm going to take dance classes from Sabrina this summer. So excited :)
Late

Oh Diane

*We have a new hole in the ceiling of the upstairs bathroom. We call it a skylight.*Rhonda is on call for her first time at the new place. She got called in at 5 this evening and at 11 tonight* Tomorrow is the Rent party and I'm more than excited* I would like a heated blanket...that sounds nice to sleep with* We have basically three more performances for dance team, then it's over* I hate school. I want to drop out...darn you responsibility* Whore was the word of the day, because there are just a couple girls that rubbed me the wrong way today* I want a new phone, a flip phone to be exact. Ugh, how NY* Speaking of which, I really want to go back to New York* Senior year has been amazing*

This has been all the thoughts that ran through my head in the 4 mintues I typed. It's odd how the mind flip flops around all willy nilly. Really, i just like the phrase willy nilly and look for any excuse to use it. :)

If you're drawing a blank...

Well, updated my wishlist. I don't want to sound like a brat, so that's all I'll say.

Last Homecoming

Yeah, it was pretty fun...but as the night dragged on the dance lost it's flare and we left around 11. But us girlies had a good time together.

To the Ladiez

Dude, tonight's dance was so much fun. Ugh, I love it. I think we'll be doing it at KH when we go dance there in a week or so.
After that I went to Addisons and was so freakin tired, but he made the entire month better. I don't think he knows it though.
Tomorrow I think I'm going to homecoming w/ Lauren and the seniors from dance team. I mean, it'll be fun hanging out with all those girls and stuff, I just never was much of a homecoming kinda gal. BUT I'm not going to be a mopey melvin about it. This weekend has been really great. Plus Regier and I had a talk and...well I guess things just make more since now.

Change in schedule

Now here it is:
10:30- Make up hip hop dance for senior night (That's what it was about)
1-meet with Regier
2-work on the dance summore
5-get dresses fixed
7-Game
8:30 ish-dance

Not too different, it's just so weird how the days fill up so fast. Ahh I'm sleepy... But our 2nd dance for senior night that we're making up today is so fun, I like it. For some reason dance just got really fun again, and we like it like that.

Saw II

Tonight Addison and I watched Saw II finally. It was good, freakin crazy as the Saw's seem to be. These days off are so nice, but they book up pretty quick. Here's my schedule for tomorrow, just so you all know.

8-9 am: Biology
10:30 am: Dance meeting (or practice, I don't really know)
2 pm: Meet w/ Regier and talk about, I'm guessing, the play
5 pm: Appt. at Streeter's to get both of my dressies hemmed
7 pm: Be at the High School
8:30(ish): Dance at Basketball game

The dance Brynn and Sara made up is so fun, I love it. Tomorrow isn't sounding too bad at all.

Circle Takes the Square

I meant to do this last night

Here's their myspaceYou can listen to four of their songs there. These were one of the bands that played last night at Remingtons. I really liked them, they put on a different show than others I have seen.

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope everyone's was as good as they were hoping.
Tonight we danced at the basketball game against Dodge...not gonna lie to you, I didn't stick around to see who won. But our dance was pretty good I think. Atleast it was fun to do. After we were done I headed over to Remingtons to catch what I could of the show tonight. The Girl Fight and Junius had already played, and Circle Takes the Square was just getting ready to start. They were really good, I'm glad I got to atleast catch that, although it's always nice to see the Girl Fight play.
Tomorrow me and Addison are doing our own little valentines day thing since we were both booked up tonight. I'm excited :) Also, tomorrow is the last day before parent teacher conferences. Unfortunatley the big black cloud I like to call college will be raining on my sleeping in parade. Oh well, the rest of the day off doesn't sound toooooo bad.

I don't think Ken would approve

I had a pretty regular-type day, not bad, not too fabulous. I learned something though, and that is that Regier should never EVER leave our class.
Oh, and speaking of which, she has to go to a forensics tourny April 15. Awesome, I know. So I need to find a one-day Cheshire Cat. I don't think it'll be much of a problem, but I just know crap like this won't stop coming up anytime soon. I can not wait for April 16 when everything is DONE. How glorious :) I better go to bed...ahhhh...sleep.

Finally someone with power said it

I'm watching awesomely badder fashion (and apparently english) on VH1 and they called out the jeans and dresses thing. Yeah, IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD. Ha, I hate jeans and skirts/dresses so much.

"You probably thought it was a good idea at the time....but it wasn't" I couldn't have said it better than the old wrinkly metro guy on the show.

This post was deleted for it's rediculousness and how retardedly long it was.

I'm on my way to a jump rope competition

Hahaha, today was a good 'un. Bullets seem appropriate, and easier.
*Went to practice w/ the band at 7:30, 75% of the girls were late, go figure.
*Went home, then to Addison's and watched Crywolf...eh, it was ok. I didn't get to see the end though because...
*I went back to school for my fourth hour photography class, which I accidentally forgot was a third hour class. After Moser told me that I apologized for accidentally ditching his class, and went back to Addison's.
*He bought a Manchester Utd. Jersey...what I was going to get him for this last Christmas, but I didn't know if he'd like it. Oops.
*Came home and Glenda and I worked on our biology paper.
*Back to school, fell asleep watching the Princess Bride in Regier's, dilly-dallied in sculpture, off hour.
*Came home for a bit, got on myspace...you little devil, you...
*Back to buff project, checked out, went yet again to Addison's.
*We danced at the game tonight. My group for the kids clinic's music kept skipping, so that sucked, but they get to redo it tomorrow. Our lyrical turned out pretty good I think. I'm going to miss doing that dance.
*Addison showed up. :) It was a good time.
*Went back to Addison's...holy crap...Bret, Kaleb, and him made two COPS videos. I can't even begin to describe how funny they were.

And that was my day. It was a really good day, and I'm sure you all are glad to hear something that isn't complaining. Everybody wins!

Pillow Man

After the tiring morning of practice, many hits to the snooze button, and working on a bio paper, I went to school and got the day started for real. Sculpture was pretty standard..got about another 2% of my project done, and Weston and Nick sang country songs. Then during buff project I went to Regiers and tried to get some real work done on the play. Which resulted in me going to wendy's, then stopping by sonic to get her a vanilla coke. Kids Clinic after school, annoying little bratty kids on one end of the spectrum, the cutest little girl named Grace on the other. When I went to pick up Cassie and Sally from school, they didn't have anywhere to go, so we all (plus AJ) ate soup at my house for dinner, where Cassie proceeded to drop the salt shaker into her bowl. And everyone else dropped it at one point or another too. It was a pretty entertaining dinner. I had never hung out with those girls outside practice...yup...they're weird, but I like them. After that everyone in the cast came over for practice. Which pretty much means we all sat around in the loft and I told them stories. We really need to get crackin on this play.
When everybody left I went to see Addison. A little bit of crap went down (not with him, mind you) and my stress level once again got the best of me. But he made it better, as he always does. Tomorrow when he gets done with class we're going to watch Crywolf. Scary movies at 9 am? Not gonna lie to you, I'll still cover my eyes.

Whatever Captain Four Pouches!

I'm thinking that maybe posting is a good stress reliever. Maybe it is, maybe it's not, but whenver I get down, this is the place I come to. Today's AM practice wasn't that bad except the typical stupid dance team crap. I don't see whats so hard about shutting one's mouth, but there's more to it than I thought apparently. I'm not even looking at the keyboard right now, just lounging back in the chair staring up at the ceiling. We'll see how well my spelling comes out.
I got to thinking about all the things people are doing and how much I can't control any of it. That gets to me. I just want to say "do it this way", or "Don't do that, just do this and it will make my life better", or "Why are you doing that? Who taught you to ___(fill in the blank with appropriate situation)____ like that?". From now on, just listen to me. I decree it.

I also think pants shouldn't be as stiff as they are when you first buy them. It makes for an uncomfortable day. Practice at my house tonight= lots of people I never expected/really wanted in my house. It's cool though, nothin but a gangsta paaaarty. :) I must school now. Break.

Elizabeth Town

Addison and I got some alone time tonight so we watched Elizabeth Town since it recently came out and I never got to see it in the theater. Well...it wasn't bad, it just wasn't all that great. Atleast we got it out of the way and never have to watch it again. Points to him for sitting through that.

Umm...am practice tomorrow...dance friday and saturday. Not much going on as of now, except that I need to sleep.

Go Ask Alice

In eighth grade I read this book called "Go Ask Alice" by an aonymous person. It was really good, but really depressing, but that's what I go for in books generally. Anyways I'm just messing around in buff project as usual and remembered it. You can buy it on Amazon for like 6 bucks if you're interested (and you can also read it, with the "search inside" feature). It's a girl's diary and she tells about how she gets into drugs, moves out on her own, and then lives on the streets...yeah...it was good 4 years ago. I'm betting it still is. If you're ever looking for 192 pages of teenage lugubriosity, hit it up.

Ha, and Jennifer Drees always thought it was called "Go Ask Alice Anonymous" because of the way the cover looked. It seriously took months to convince her otherwise, and she got made fun of by me the rest of the year.

Glory Glory Man United

I've seriously had that Manchester United song stuck in my head since yesterday at this time. IEEEE

Recap the last 24 hours or so:
*played raquetball and bball w/ Addison over my off hour yesterday
*nothing else exciting
*Had a test in biology today, and it wasn't half bad since I studied. It never fails to amaze me how much that actually helps.

It just doesn't quit

Anything But Joey is back. I heard they were going to be, but who can you believe these days? They have a tour starting up this summer :) Awww and after playing raquetball and bball w/ Addison today, this day is turning out to be fantastic.

I'm sorry

You know, that was rude of me to post such a debbie downer of a post. Normally I wouldn't care, but I was thinking about tonight's show. It really was a lot of fun. There was like 10 minutes there when people just stood around telling jokes in the mic, and just...it was a good time. Aside from the bad things.
My ears are ringing.
I just read Nick's last post about how he hates when people don't name names in their posts. Ha...well, don't read that last one then, Nick.
I just remembered I got soda spilled on me tonight. Huh...that sucked...But apparently I got over it real quick.
Addison just called me. That makes me happy.

Don't do that

This was one of the dresses I tried on. It was the only one, however, that made me look like a wedding cake. In my opinion prom dresses sucked this year. It took a lot more effort than before to find a good 'un.

Us celebrating at Cold Stone for Kasey's (hopefully) new job at Hot Topic.

I should have tried harder to get good pics. Anyways, this was at the show tonight. The boys played really good. There were some people there that I would have chosen not to be, so that sucked. And then crap was going down w/ one of my friends. Crap that I don't like and should probably stop...before I just talk about it on my blog more. I suck at confrontation, dang it.
Today wore me out, what with the shopping and the stupid drive home from Wichita. Addison was right, that trip sucks. Then going to a show, listening to loud things all night. It makes a girl tired, I'll tell you. And doesn't put her in the best of moods if she already doesn't like loud things to begin with. But it was a pretty fun night so I'll let it slide.
Tomorrow is the Super Bowl. The plans I had sort of fell through so I'll probably end up staying at home and watching it. Um Lame, but whatev.
I don't think I should be allowed to post when I'm tired/irratated. They just make my blog's cheery points go way down....zzzzzz...crap I fell asleep there for a second. I'm OUT.

That's an ENVOY Stana

The trip to Wichita went really good, it was soo much fun! We ate at a mexican place called Fillipe's that had really good cheese enchiladas. We also got the bridesmaid dressies, and I found a prom dress. I love it.
"It doesn't flatter you, you flatter it" Yeah...um...whatever you meant to say guys, I don't think that was it. But thanks. :)
We went shopping today and I got some stuff and Kasey basically got recruited by the manager of Hot Topic to work there, so she was really excited. We dropped off her application today after we spent an hour last night making it perfect. Ah Kasey, love you. So it was a good trip, but of course, I'm glad to be home.
The Girl Fight is playing a show at Hallie's tonight so I'm about ready to go to that.

Bad news for pizza

So to all of you who didn't get an email from my dad, you probably won't know/care what I'm about to announce anyways. HOWEVER. A super good pizza place in Longmont, Colorado called Woody's Pizza. They had the best beer-cheese soup I have ever ate, and of course, the only I'd ever ate. Nonetheless, their honey mustard dressing was awesome too. Never really got into the pizza much...but everyone else did. So. That's that then.

King Salisbury IV

Dang, only three hours. Not bad for a paper, eh? Plus I had distractions, so really it only took 2 hours...so what if I watch Sex and the City in the middle of my papers? Anyhoo. Hopefully that will be sufficient. It was only 1,360 or so words, as opposed to the required 1,500, but a) I heard they don't actually count words, they just eyeball it and assume it's ok or it's not. and b)It's only the rough draft, we have two more trys after this to make it perfect. It's midnight. I'M going to bed. :)

This magic moment

I'm currently working on my buff project paper. Though I'm only on the second page, I really and truly feel it's going well. I'm bs'ing a lot, but i think it's really good bs. Welcome to the GCHS senior project, where if you just make it look like you did something, you win. And I'm actually putting work into this freaking thing? Jeez, thanks a lot usd 457, you've made me into an honest student.

All things are possible, if not in real life, then on paper.

Today doesn't need to be happening

Iee what a day, and it's only 9:13. I'll sum it up in bullets
*Starts out good, I get up at 6:50, earlier than usual
*Go to use my brand new straightner, it smells like plastic is burning, but Rhonda said that it was just doing that because it was new
*It doesn't straighten my hair for crap
*So it's a bad hair day
*Can't find anything to wear, not comfortable in anything, so it's a bad clothes day as well.
*Go to load the 35 mm with film for the photo shoot Kristen and I set up for today, it runs out of batteries (some freaky batteries that we don't keep in stock here at the house)
*I think, oh that's fine, I'll just use the digital.
*Can't find the digital and can't spend much time looking for it or I'll be late for bio
*Go to bio, don't understand anything, but we just take notes which isn't too bad, except I'm worrying about my camera the whole time
*Come home, think "Oh freakin duh" Look where I know it will be, and it is.
*So the day started to look up, sort of.

For the rest of the day I have to:
Do my buff project paper
Go with Leslie and buy our English books
Go running before practice
Go to practice
Hang out with Addison otherwise I'll go crazy.

Whew! Hey guys, have a good day.

And just when the post ends...

I read that Stuck on Broadway is breaking up. They'll have one more show and then Steeeeeve is moving to Hollywood. Ha, looking up, huh? We'll see about that.

ps. I'm sorry my blog has basically just turned into me being a cry baby. I told you this would happen this semester!
